BackKhaitan & Co advised Just Climate, an existing shareholder of Continuum Green Energy Ltd, in connection with Chubu Electric Power Co., Inc.’s proposed INR 1,350 crores investment in Continuum Green Energy Ltd.
The proposed investment by Chubu Electric Power Co., Inc., through its affiliate, is structured as a combination of primary subscription and secondary acquisition of equity shares in Continuum. Continuum is a leading Indian renewable energy platform with a portfolio focused on utility-scale wind, solar and hybrid energy projects.
The Firm advised Just Climate in its capacity as an existing shareholder of Continuum. The Firm’s role included advising on the impact of the proposed investment on Just Climate’s existing rights, and assisting with matters relating to the shareholder arrangements among Continuum’s investor group.
Khaitan & Co has also previously advised Just Climate on its investments in Continuum Green Energy.
