BackKhaitan & Co advised Peak XV Partners Growth Investments IV (formerly, Sequoia Capital India & SEA) (“Peak XV”) in relation to leading the ~USD 7.8 million investment in series A round of Bazaarindia Technologies Pvt Ltd (“BazaarNow”). Existing investors, Antler and Whiteboard Capital also participated in this round along with several other investors
BazaarNow is a private limited company, inter alia, engaged in the business of developing, owning and licensing the technology stack and platform intellectual property for use in connection with the sale of products through electronic and digital commerce platforms.
The Firm role included:
a. conducting due diligence exercise on BazaarNow;
b. reviewing and negotiating the transaction documents; and
c. execution and closing related aspects of the transaction which, inter alia, included the review of documents in relation to the conditions precedent and closing, as well as tracking the completion of the said actions.
