BackKhaitan & Co advised the Bangkok headquartered Indorama Ventures on acquisition of majority control of Blackstone owned EPL Ltd by amalgamation of Indorama’s offshore packaging business with EPL India, resulting in estimated valuation of USD 2 Billion in the combined entity.
The deal involved complex cross-border group restructuring followed by amalgamation with an Indian listed company.
The Firm advised on structuring the overall transaction and drafting and negotiating the definitive agreements.
