BackKhaitan & Co advised Daiwa Securities Group Inc on its proposed investment in Ambit Wealth Pvt Ltd (dba Ambit GPC), the wealth management arm of Ambit group for a ~15% equity stake. The investment will be used for capitalizing the growth opportunities for AWPL within India’s Wealth Management Sector. The transaction is subject to customary closing conditions, including receipt of regulatory approvals in India.
The Firm advised Daiwa on all aspects of the transaction including legal due diligence, advice on regulatory aspects and negotiation of transaction documents.
