BackKhaitan & Co acted as legal counsel the book running lead managers (Axis Capital Ltd, Motilal Oswal Investment Advisors Ltd and Nuvama Wealth Management Ltd) as to Indian law in connection with the draft red herring prospectus filed by Sterlite Electric Ltd (formerly known as Sterlite Power Transmission Ltd) in relation to its proposed initial public offering of equity shares, consisting of a fresh issue and an offer for sale aggregating up to INR 1500 crores.
