BackKhaitan & Co advised Service Easy Technology Pvt Ltd (Company) and its promoters and certain selling shareholders in connection with its 100% (one hundred percent) share sale transaction, pursuant to which Valuedrive Technologies Pvt Ltd (Purchaser) acquired full ownership of the Company.
The Company owns and operates a platform named ‘GoMechanic’ and is engaged in the business of aggregation of automobile repair and maintenance services through independent third-party garage service providers through the platform and sourcing and distributing (on a B2B basis) automobile spare parts and automobile accessories.
The Purchaser owns and operates ‘Spinny’, a C2C platform and is engaged in the business of providing a platform for sale and purchase of second-hand cars and is a prominent full-stack used car platform.
Deal Team
The core team consisted of Aditya Patni (Partner), Prithwijit Gangopadhyay (Partner), Riya Dutta (Principal Associate), Supallab Chakraborty (Senior Associate) along with assistance from Tanima Tandon (Counsel), Pulkit Chaturvedi (Principal Associate), and Amanee Kadakia (Senior Associate) and the tax advisory team consisted of Shaily Gupta (Partner) and Bharat Jain (Principal Associate).
