Manipal Health Enterprises Limited - Filing of the DRHP for the proposed IPO

Khaitan & Co acted as the legal counsel to the book running lead managers (Kotak Mahindra Capital Company Ltd, Axis Capital Ltd, Goldman Sachs (India) Securities Pvt Ltd, Jefferies India Pvt Ltd, J.P. Morgan India Pvt Ltd, UBS Securities India Pvt Ltd and DBS Bank India Ltd)  as to Indian law in connection with the draft red herring prospectus filed by Manipal Health Enterprises Ltd in relation to its proposed initial public offering of equity shares, consisting of a fresh issue of INR 8,000 crores and an offer for sale by certain existing shareholders of up to 43.23 million shares. 

This is expected to be the largest IPO by a healthcare company in India. Selling shareholders include Manipal Group, Temasek, TPG, Mubadala
