Sahil Narang is a Partner with the Dispute Resolution practice group in the Delhi office. Sahil has over 9 years of experience in advising and representing domestic and international clients in commercial litigations and arbitrations.
He has dealt with a broad variety of complex disputes including one of the biggest ever corporate frauds in India, the Satyam scam. He has also worked on numerous shareholder disputes and has represented clients before various forums. His work ranges from advising on regulatory issues to litigations before the Supreme Court of India, various High Courts and tribunals in India. He is currently representing clients in the entertainment and cinema industry across multiple fora.
Sahil has been extensively dealing with emerging areas of law such as food safety, data privacy and insolvency and bankruptcy and has advised various domestic and global clients on issues involved in these areas of law. He has also assisted and appeared before the domestic arbitral tribunals as well as institutional arbitral tribunals constituted under the SIAC, ICC and LCIA, amongst others.

Mahindra Satyam
Advised and represented Mahindra Satyam (Satyam Scam) on a wide range of issues relating to corporate law, criminal law and tax law.
Japanese Transport Company
Advised and represented a large Japanese transport company in a shareholders dispute before the Delhi High Court and before a Singapore seated emergency arbitrator under the aegis of SIAC.
Sports Licensing Company
Advised and represented a major sports licensing company in India before the Delhi High Court in a petition under section 9 of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act 1996 and also before a court appointed mediator in a dispute with the owner of commercial rights granted to the client through a long term agreement.
Privacy Laws
Advised a number of companies including Abbott, Expedia, Facebook, Harley-Davidson, Bristol Myers Squibb, United Health Group, Pfizer, Thomson Reuter, MIH Internet, Crompton Greaves on privacy laws in India through foreign law firms.
Mauritius based Investment Company
Advised and represented a Mauritius based investment company holding a minority stake in an Indian company in a shareholder dispute before the National Company Law Tribunal, National Company Law Appellate Tribunal and the Supreme Court.
Shareholder
Represented a majority shareholder before the National Company Law Appellate Tribunal in an oppression and mismanagement action initiated by the minority shareholders in relation to squeesing out of their shares under section 236 of the Companies Act, 2013.
Cement Manufacturer
Represented a major cement manufacturing company before a three member arbitral tribunal seated in India against an infrastructure major in a claim for specific performance / damages under a long term supply contract of raw material and also proceedings arising out of relating to the arbitration before the Delhi High Court.
Cement Manufacturer
Represented a major cement manufacturing company before the Supreme Court in proceedings initiated by Securities Exchange Board of India which relate to issues surrounding securities fraud perpetrated by a depository and stock broker.
Multiplex Association of India
Advised and representing the Multiplex Association of India before the Supreme Court of India and other forums including the Gujarat High Court and the Allahabad High Court, Lucknow Bench in the issue of allowing outside food inside multiplexes and certain other issues.
