Amit Ganatra

Amit Ganatra is an Executive Director in the Direct Tax practice group. With two decades of professional experience, Amit has advised clients in the areas of corporate and international taxation including bilateral tax treaties and related issues. His areas of expertise include tax advisory, litigation, compliance, EPC Contracts, tax structuring (including under IBC) and group reorganizations.

Amit advises clients in emerging areas such as General Anti Avoidance Rules and Place of Effective Management. He has represented clients including large Indian and multinational companies in proceedings before tax authorities at various levels on complex income tax matters.

Amit is an avid writer and has authored various articles in leading regional and national dailies, and tax websites such as Taxmann and Taxsutra. He is also a regular speaker at various public forums and trade bodies.
