Electrosteel Castings Limited | Calcutta High Court extends the date for compliance with Renewable Consumption Obligation (RCO) targets

Khaitan & Co represented Electrosteel Group in a writ petition before the Calcutta High Court, challenging the Renewable Consumption Obligation framework. The Court extended the compliance deadline by one month and directed the Ministry of Power to clarify the treatment of Waste Heat and Waste Gas Recovery-based captive power plants.
